I really like to use Rubbermaid boxes for my hedgehogs. They are cheap and very easy to clean! I don't see why you couldn't use them for guinea pigs, mice, gerbils and hamsters. Just keep this idea in the back of your mind next time you go cage hunting. (i use both the opaque and translucent boxes)
