You have a chinchilla in a rubbermaid box? No offense but that is TOTALLY unsuitabel! Chin really need tons of room and should eb given a wire cage that is at least 24 x 24 inches. www.martinscages.com has really good chin cages there. PLease change your chinchillas cage to a wire. They might seem happy but they need a lot of room to play.
