Anyone using any sort of water bottle should check it every day to make sure that it is functioning properly! I had one that worked fine for a while and then one day I tried to run my finger over the ball, and could not get any water to come out at all... You should also make sure that your animal is able to get water as well, since (as was noted) your finger may be stronger than your critter... You can watch the water bottle when the mouse uses it, and see tiny bubbles float to the top if he is successful...


: Hello. I recently purchased a water bottle for my mice. My mice cannot get water to come out of the bottle and 2 of them died from dehydration. Is there any method/procedure that I can do with this water bottle to make it work? I can get the little ball to move and release water, but the mice cannot. If you have any useful suggestions, please post a reply to this message.
