Hi. I'm interested in getting a lynx someday, but I live in Texas. Has anyone here had to deal with the Tx dangerous animal law that came into effect last year or so? Could anyone give me any insight on how it is enforced, etc. I'm particularly interested in the 8 ft. perimeter fence requirement and the insurance requirement. For example, if you keep your cat in your house (or in a room in your house) do you still have to have the fence, or is the outside wall of the house enough? Any insight into that or other aspects of this law would be greatly appreciated.
