Hello, I purchased a Serval from Cossette's Exotics out of Minnesota. Sandy has been very helpful. I bought my girl @ 8 weeks, and she is now 10 months and we still e-mail each other.
I wouldn't Suggest any Exotic for beginners, but if you are serious, the Serval would be a great animal to start with. Here is a link to Sandy's webpage.

As for feeding, Raw meat is very important. My girl eats a little raw meat everyday, and twice a day she gets what is called Zupreem, it is a canned food made for exotic felines. If you have any questions, feel free to ask or check out our webpage. Thanks Rick
