The cat you get really depends on you, just do genereal researcch of "exotic cats as pets"

That should help. I have a bangel, which looks exotic but really isn't and then my serval who acts like a house cat, but you can never fully trust. They are alot of work--more then a pet dog. Can be pretty expensive to feed.
