The allergies to cats are usually to dander which is caused by the cat grooming itself. Most people do not have allergic reactions to chins. In fact, they are actually a recommended pet if you have allergies. The only thing that people usually have allergies to is the dust bath. If this is the case, you have two options. 1)Have someone other than your daughter bathe the chinnies...a very fun experience if you've never seen it, or 2)Use sand bath instead of dust bath. This makes a big difference.
Chins can be great pets if you know what you are getting into. :D
