Hello. Happy to help. First of all, you need to know why your chinchilla is low weight. Teeth problems are very common and need attention ASAP. Infections can be another culprit, as can too many rich foods. Are the droppings normal? You may need to see a vet. If you are under a vet's care, I strongly recommend the Oxbow Critical Care product. It's for low weight and recovering herbivores and is a miracle for chinchillas!
