Today my girl had her babys !!
I'm so happy, i just fell like making a post on it !!!!
My chipmunk female had babyes today at 12:00 !!! I dont know how many they are because i'm afrayd to disturb the new mom.
Anyway if there are any chipmunks owners out there, here's the sad thing : About two houres later the male hade blood in he's mouth and the female was very disturbed, and tryed to take the babyes out of the nest !!! I'm not sure if he was eating one of the babyes or just some part of the placenta, but it was probably a baby ! Well at least one is alive for ure because sometimes i here him "skuik", and i already put the male in another cage.
Let's see how things work out ! If some of you have some advise to give me do-it !

Therese that has a site about chipmunks told me that a sister and a brother chipmunk can have babys together, althow obviously its not very advisable, and i've seen somewere that if you put many females together you will see that onely the dominant female will have babys. I hope my post was usefull to someone ! Herberto, Portugal, Europe.
