i was bitten, anti-rabies???

i had newly imported some chipmunks from china, i was bitten will tranfering them to their cages.
bites were small and not deep, but they broke the skin and one had some blood that came out.
there were reports in the net that this types pf rodents carry rabies, what do you people recommend?
i take the anti-rabies shot? any site recommendation that has complete info on rabies from animals-man-man?

can this be transmitted thru human to human with in 72 hours of the incident?
