I'm not sure if he was eating one of the babyes or just some part of the placenta, but it was probably a baby ! Well at least one is alive for ure because sometimes i here him "skuik", and i already put the male in another cage.

: Therese that has a site about chipmunks told me that a sister and a brother chipmunk can have babys together, althow obviously its not very advisable, and i've seen somewere that if you put many females together you will see that onely the dominant female will have babys. : I hope my post was usefull to someone ! : Herberto, Portugal, Europe.
