dormouse sounds

I just purchased 2 adorable dormice. I think a male and a female. They are 5 weeks old. One of them makes a lot of sounds....I am wondering if these are sounds to call the other dormouse, sounds of pleasure, or what? Does anyone know when and why dormice chirp? Thanks.
