dormice in Ca?

Hello,
I was wondering if dormice are legal in California or Nevada? i have not been able to find it anywhere. They are so cute would love to have a few. I have 4 rats right now and 1 chinchilla and 1 that will be ready around the 10th. I am a stay at home mom and have tons of time for these little guys.
