Help!! My dormouse keeps eating her babies

I have two dormice and my female has had two litters now and has eaten both. At first I thought that it was the male so for the 2nd litter I separated them and the babies were still eaten. Im at a loss for what to do and would appreciate any advice that anyone has. thanks
