: As long as it is getting a good diet, it should be ok. Make sure it is getting a good supplement for nocturnals, fresh fruit, protein. Obviously, they are doing well if they are breeding for you. : The two common problems with albinos are sensitivity to light/the sun, and problems retaining heat (since the white coat reflects heat). As a nocturnal, it won't be in the sun. Dormice are famously intolerant of cold temperatures. Since yours are breeding and active, you must be keeping them warm enough alread. : I hope that it survives and that you can breed it out to a healthy mate to get rid of that deformity, and possibly perpetuate the albino gene. : If you would like help discussing a breeding plan to try to isolate the gene, please feel free to contact me. : An albino strain would be a wonderful addition for dormouse lovers.
