hi karen. i'm just starting to breed rats myself for my ball python so have been doing a lot of research and question asking on this. so far i've learned that dry ice can be used for euthanizing as it is just CO2 frozen. i was also told that you can rent CO2 tanks from a pop manufacturer. i'm gonna go the dry ice route. sound simpler. good luck.
