: mice.. you can.. but dont be supprised if you find her dead and chewed on.. they dont like outside mice into their cages.. they tend to attack them.. you can try to clean the cage.. remove smells and "territory".. you can rub the new female w/ the old dirty litter.. get their smell on her..

: gerbils.. i breed these in pairs.. so i would have NO idea..

: hamsters.. they dont like eachother usually.. they defend territory vicisously.. they'll fight till one dies..
