: I keep a few mice for feeders and breed them. I try to keep young females to breed as replacements. I always pick females from big litters. Lately my litters have been smaller and less frequent, is it time for new males or new mice?

I dont no if you are putting the young females back with the father but this can cause smaller litters. so a new male mite be the answer.I have found I get very healthy litters when I feed cat or dog food.
