I have tried numerous kinds of ferrets treats, and have had a problem with all of them losing their freshness (getting hard, losing their chewy, softness) relatively fast - I'm not sure if the problem is just that I expect longer freshness, or if the air is just that dry. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on either keeping the treats fresh longer, or if it is simply easier/better to give them "real" fresh treats, like banana slices?

The treats in question : Marshall's Bandit Treats, Eight in One UltraBlend Ferretbites, and Sheppard & Greene Ferret Feast Gourmet Treats.

Any help or suggestions regarding this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
