How close in size are they? There will be some rough times as the pecking order is determined. If the new ferret is much smaller, don't leave them unsupervised until they get things worked out. If they are close in size, still supervise, but let things get a little more rough before you intervene. You will have to be patient, and there is no guarantee that it will work all the time, but most of the time they will work things out. If they start fighting, and you separate, then the one that was losing runs right back for more, let them go at it a little harder. They play rough, and I have even heard others say that as long as no blood or poop flies, it's ok. I personally have not had that much trouble in the past.
