Hi all. I have two gerbils that I want to breed. I was forced to buy them from two different pet shops because of my remote location, short supply, and I can't stand the idea of shipping these cute little things. But the pet shops seemed clean, well kept, and had good knowledge of Gerbil care. Luckly, both gerbils seem to be in fantastic health and are quite tame. Their names are Hanzo and Cham Cham. Ok, here goes... Cham Cham is the female and she seems to be a pink eyed white "maybe REW". Hanzo is the male and is a little harder to identify. Mostly Hanzo looks like a normal Agouti, but his back near the tall looks more gray then the rest of his coat and he has a very light spot on his neck. His belly side is white and his tail starting at the base is a much brighter orange color then the rest of his coat. He doesn't look quite like any of the Gerbils on The Gerbils Color Palette page. http://home.wtal.de/ehr/gerbils/colors.htm The only other thing I know about them is Hanzo came from a litter of mostly red eyed and dark eyed honeys. Based of this information, can anyone tell me what Hanzo is? Also, what kind of color or colors can I expect from the litters? Thanks for all the help. This is a great site
