Regarding your post below for care. The information you
read is for the most part correct. Piggies should be offered
Timothy hay daily (NOT ALFALFA). This can be purchased at
most pet shops. They should only consume about 1/4 cup of
pellets per day each. They should be offered green leafy
vegetables like kale and parsley (they love this stuff). Do
not feed regular lettuce on a routine basis. Once in a while
as a treat is fine. They do tend to play with their water
bottles so that is normal. As far as them getting along,
it depends on the specific GP. You will not know until that
time comes. I would have them sexed by a vet (exotic) soon
as they can be difficult to sex at this age and many times the
pet stores are wrong. They can mate at 6 weeks of age! You
did not ask about bedding for them but wanted to let you know
not to use cedar shavings. Carefresh is excellent!.
