The best place to go to ask questions where they will actually get answered in a reasonable amount of time-- by knowledgeable people-- is www.guinealinx.info, click on forums, they have a wonderful medical forum where you can post your question.
Also, it is not advised to have your female pig "fixed", most vets don't know how to do it correctly, and it can have serious complications. Same goes for neuturing the males. The best thing to do would be to seperate the cage into two sections. A great website to go to that will show you how to make a large, inexpensive cage is www.cavycages.com. It can easily be made into two seperate cages. I hope this helps!
