My son has been begging me to get a pet. He is only five so I wanted to get him something that would be easy work for him (I would do all the hard stuff) and something he could play with. My friend suggested that I get him either a hamster or a gerbil. What I was wondering is what is the difference? And which would be better for a five year old?
