If you're feeding the regular store-bought hamster food, I suggest taking out the sunflower seeds, peanuts (if any), and maybe even the corn. Feed those foods occasionally for a while as a snack. The first two are really fatty, and cheaper brands tend to stock the bags with sunflower seeds. If you don't already, giving the Fluffy some fruits or vegetables every now and then would be nice too.

: I've had Fluffy my kid sisters teddybear hamster around for about 2 months. He has gotten fat a lazy. He loves to run in the wheel but can hardly fit into it and when he does the noise of it vibrating echoes loudy in the house (which it shouldn't).

:Can anyone recomend a home made diet I can put him on and how to cut down on the noise of the wheel? It would be of great help.

:Thank You,
