usually it is better to keep giving hard because otherwise there teeth will go weaker. But if the hedgie like three years + to the average high of there lifespan then thats understandable( I have a 14 yearold cat with only 8 teeth the my vet has me keep feeding hard food too, shes always had teeth problems, and you know... her teeth since Ive kept her on the hard food are lasting longer and not falling out as much I used to be a sucker and let her have the soft food.
anyways, tender vittles is a hard but soft food made for cats, i think purina makes it? Its in a small box..

My rabbit was running around for about an hour and I felt she needed to be put away. ( she is not 100% litter trained and I have litter boxes in my room but I really dont want an accident on my newly shampooed carpet!)
so I go to get her, she runs , I finally catch up to her when she gets on my bed and she stomps her little back leg! what a snot! LOL she is so cute though. I left her because I felt well if shes fighting she probably will use the litter box if she needs to. sooo in that same spot she pounded her leg, she lays down. VERY..cute
