I doubt they wouldn't fight but there is a long list of reasons why you shouldn't.
1. The temperature requirements for each animal are very different. Chinchillas require a much lower room temperature than a hedgehog. So keeping them in the same room let alone the same cage is out of the question.
2. Chinchillas tend to bounce around and play, a hedgehog would be nervous with this and may curl up in a ball. A chinchilla could poke an eye or get a quill stuck in its skin and therefore become hurt. Or the hedgehog could be hurt by the bouncing chin.
3. Food requirements for each are extremely different.
These are just a couple of reasons why you would want to keep them seperate.
:will they fight? is it bad for them mentally? thx
