If those don't scare you then you probably will make a fine hedgehog owner. The most important thing I try to stress to people is each hedgehog is very different, and to be a good owner is to accept them for what they are.

If you go to Niagara you will run into a lot of really friendly hedgehogs... I'm hoping to make that show as well... the last show there 2 years ago, was an awesome show, so I'm sure this one will be just as good.

Go to the show, don't be shy, and talk to the owners there. You'll find the people are extremely friendly and if given the chance to tell you about their hedgehogs, they will talk your ear off :).
