Hello,

Next time hedgie gets a bath, use a container wash with a diluted vinager solution and check contents of the bowl with a magnifier. It could also be a reaction to the soap your using.
I would thoughly clean and disinfect the cage before putting her/him back. The 'Straight' poop, It depends on what you feed your hedgie. Certain foods could affect color or it could be pathological. If you are feeding her/him Cat food and insects (ie Supermeal worms), the color should be a medium brown and the stool should be soft. Try to change a few things, If it continues, It's vet time. If you go, don't forget to take a sample of the poop.

Good luck,
Brian

My hedgehog seems to have a bit of a skin problem - the skin on his back is a little bit flaky, but it blows off like dandruff. Would I be able to see any mites if that was the problem?

:Also his 'normal' skin - arms and legs, belly, face, is quite red.. it shows through the white of his fur on his face. I gave him a bath the other day, so could this be a reaction to the soap I was using?

:His poop is also dark green and moistish.. a little bit sticky. This is bad, I'm guessing...?

:Thanks!
