First off, congrats on your new hedgie :) I have a 3 month old male (named Sonic, of course), and have found that your best resources for hedgehog help are at hedgies.com as well as the forums on www.chins-n-quills.com - hedgies are fairly easy to take care of - make sure they have proper food (high quality cat food or the commercial hedgehog food available at most larger petstores), snacks (some fruits, mealworms (no more than 2 a day), etc), and toys! a wheel is a great thing to keep your 'hog from becoming obese - best ones are made with mesh bottoms or all plastic "bucket wheels" to keep their small feet from falling through. It may take awhile to get your hedgie used to you, but just like your herps, small doses of handling and and old shirt or something with your scent on it to make him/her more used to you helps a lot. For a great guide on handling a huffy hog, try www.hedgehogvalley.com - and good luck!!
