I am considering a STO as a dorm pet, and I would like to have some additional information on their diet before I proceed. I have read various accounts of succesful diets for STO, but I still have a few questions. First, about how much does a STO eat per day? (For instance, how long would a 10 lb bag of STO food last one adult?) Second, how neccisary are fruits to the diet? I understand that they are good sometimes, but I haven't gotten any real feel for how often is truly nessicary. I would be able to provide mealworms, but I'm curious about what all is needed beyond insects and the dry food. I'm trying to determine if this critter is feasible on a college budget. Any information would be greatly appriciated. Feel free to e-mail me at contact@carle.ws

Thanks,
Andy Carle
