Andy,

I have a male STO (Jethro) that I've had for just a little while. I got him at the petstore where i work, actually, he was my birthday present from my parents.

Anyway, i feed him Eukanuba kitten food as the basis of his diet, and he eats probably about 1/8 cup of this a day. (Less, actually, but his bowl is tiny and i keep it about half full all the time.) You want to leave his food bowl full with the basic diet all the time so they can pick and choose what they want. He also gets either grapes or cherries once a day, cut into small bits and pitted. (I havent tried other fruits b/c i havent had him that long), I feed 2-5 King Mealworms once a week or once every two weeks, and i have the regular small mealworms here at the house to feed him when i remember. (its nice having reptiles as well as my STO, there's always bugs around!!) He doesnt seem to be that expensive to feed, as i am keeping my ONE POUND bag of kitten food in the outside freezer, as there's no way i could use it all before bugs or something got in it and i would have to buy more.

Hope that helped a little!
Jamie
