:i used to live in nj but moved to philly where i have caught over 4 or 5 mice unharmed. i simply put a unscalable container with food in the bottom out and a rope that lets them climb in. has to be over one foot so they cant just out once caught.
:anywho in my house i knew that they had babies cuz i had seen smaller ones. 75% were black and 25% brown. i caught the parents and they were both heterozygous black/brown i assume cuz they looked black and had brown babies.
:u can tell if there r more if u see droppings around or can smell the male mouse urine odor. i can say i have had alot of experiance getting rid of/ catching mice. email jae32@drexel.edu if u wanted to know more about "urban" mice... :-P l8er
