If the mice are similar in age it is probably ok, although the wild babies might have had mites. If they did, your babies do too and it can be a big problem for baby mice. You can see the mites if you watch the babies closely, they are little round black/dark brown bugs that crawl around. If there are mites you need to treat for them as soon as possible. If the babies aren't similar in age, the older ones might not let the younger ones nurse. Also, if the litter she already had was fairly large (over 8) it will put a strain on the mother to keep up with the demands of the new litter.
You will also need to be very careful when handling the wild babies as they will be extremely skittish and jumpy.

:I was out on my back porch letting my dogs in the house..and found 5 baby mice...it's really cold out..I'm in New York so I don't know where they came from. I have mice, and they have a litter at the moment, so I put them in with my babies..I'm just wondering if theres anything wrong with this. Will they make my mice sick?
:thanks!
