thanks i hope it helps to.

:You can get the extract in most grocery stores in the baking section where the cake mixes and stuff are. I read on this forum some time ago that you'd only want to put in 1 teaspoon per 1 gallon. For an 8 oz bottle that breaks down to about 1/8 of a teaspoon. Get measuring spoons if you don't already have them!! And make sure the set has the 1/8 (or in some cases they get cutesy and call it "Just a Pinch"). You don't want to give them too much.

:I use the stuff. I have no idea how much it helps. But I'm not sure I'd want to take my guy off it just to find out!! :D He does, however, live in my room, and I don't find it so totally offensive as to want to evict him, so it just might be working, after all. :)

:Good luck.

::Just to make sure, you need to buy the fake vanilla extract. The real vanilla extract has alcohol and that's not good for your mouse or so I have been told. It's teaspoon per gallon so just add a drop or two. Other than that, you can buy "odor tamer" which is a disposable activated carbon liner. It works but it's kinda expensive (3sheets for $7). Other than that, get an airfreshner. Hope this helps.
