This board isn't always all that active, by my observations. And I'm going to assume that you've tried this over on the gerbil forum of this site? You might try other forums, like Petshub.com, and RodentFancy's forums over at rodentfancy.org.

But dropping a message in a mouse forum about a gerbil isn't likely to get as many responses. :)

I don't know jack about gerbils, but just a thought with the bloat: have you tried rubbing his belly to stimulate his going to the bathroom? Maybe he just can't very well on his own yet.
