Langi re nice lemurs

He's a ringtail..I think he's the greatest little guy, and he's fine around people who visit occasionally and don't stay long, but he's starting to get aggressive with those closest to me (husband, mother). I wonder if it's possessiveness? I don't want it to get worse--he's not caged now and I don't want to have to do that to him.
