: Hi everyone, : I have 2 prarie dogs (Bvca and Archie). I have had Bvca since 1995 and Archie only a few months. I bought Archie from a woman who had purchased him from a Pet Store for her 2 year old son, as he was in his RUT - he wa snot appropriate for the 2 year old. When I learned of this, it was perfect timing - as Bvca's friend Ralphie had just passed away, and Bvca was very lonely. : I bought Archie to keep Bvca company, but the difference in age is apparent. Archie is a fun wild little boy! He wants to play play play and escape from his cage, though I let them run around outside their enormous cage, he is so hard to keep up with. : I never thought it would come to this, but Archie is too much for my Bvca, and I need to find him another home.
