prarie dog tooth loss

My male prarie dog is two years old and very active,he recently jumped out of his cage and hit the floor(about 2 feet). I checked him over everywhere and he seemed fine he was back doing everything normal but 2 days later i came home to notice one of his top teeth missing and the other loose. I assume he must have hit them on the floor when he fell and lossened them up. Should i take him immediately to the vet or should i wait to see if it grows back? any info or experience on this would be appreciated
