You can actually make one for under $40. All you need is Organize-It grids and electrical ties. Organize-It is a brand of brand of products that are for oragnizing things - I'm sure you caught that already. One of the things they make is ready-to-assemble shelves. All that the box consists of is 14"x14" grids and connectors. You can by these boxes at Target for about $19.95. All you do is put the grids together using the electrical ties - which you can get at any hardware store. The reason you don't use the connectors in the Organize-It box is because they're flimsy and pop off easily. Here are some pictures of pens and cages made from Organize-It grids and electrical ties:

Or, you could skip this whole make-a-pen idea and get a regular dog pen at Petsmart or Petco for about $70.
