My rabbit is 5 months old now, he's a jersey wooley. Since i got him last month, he has been on medicine to cure his sneezing and flu. I asked the vet and she said it would be the right time to neutur my bunny at about 6-7 months, which would mean a month+ from now. I'm not a local at where i am staying, but the veterinary clinic is an in-house clinic for a very well-known pet shop(with a few outlets) here. She said that the operation itself will take about 1 hour. She mentioned that the process has very little risk. At the time i was there, i saw a rabbit and a cat waiting for the neuturing/spaying operation. I'm worried because this is my first rabbit and i love him so much. I just want to know the differences between a neutured male rabbit from a rabbit that is not neutured. I heard that they live longer, is it true? Thanks for any advice!
