Howdy,
Hairless rats are the same species as the fuzzy rats you currently own. The hairless rat is more likely to get scratches and infections from playing with the others.
About the cage...a 10 gallon is way too small for even one rat, let alone two grown males. May I suggest trying a Martin's cage or something similar? (www.martinscages.com)
Good luck!
:I have two regular big male rats sharing a 10 gallon at the moment, but I am getting a bigger cage in the near future. The other day I found these hairless rats that I find cool looking, and I may pick one up as soon as I get the new cage. Do you think my regular rats would harm a new hairless rat if I placed them in the same cage?
