Well, after battling pneumonia since December, Mouse finally succumbed to her illness. She stopped eating today and looked at me in such a way that I knew she was ready to go, so I took her to the vet and she went peacefully. I will never forget her. She is the most wonderful little friend I've ever had, and I love her with all of my heart.
