Banana and oranges are both fine for rats, as long you don't give them too much. Fruits are too high in sugar so amount should be limited. Oranges are only bad for MALE rats, because citrus apparently can cause kidney cancer. Chocolates actually are not harmful to rats as it is for dogs, and small amounts of it is ok to give. Chocolate can help rats having difficulty breathing, as it helps to open airways. Very small amounts of course.

What food are you feeding them? I don't recommend store bought seed mixes, they're too high in fat and protein, and also not very healthy. Quality lab blocks or homemade mixes are preferred by many rat owners. Good and simple homemade mix is Suebee's recipe: www.ratsrule.com/diet.html You can mix this with a bag of Nutro Lite dog food.
