She said they had tried several different things, including introducing them on neutral territory, introducing them slowly by putting cages together so they can smell and see each other, and he just wasn't having it. Of course, they have dozens of rabbits, rats, and ferrets that all need hands on work so they can't devote a great deal of time trying to get him cozy with his boy neighbors. She did say that he didn't seem to mind the spayed girls, which is why I got my pair of ladies. When I go back to see him, I'll take them with me and make a very tentative and EXTREMELY supervised introduction on neutral territory. If he doesn't seem hideously overagressive toward them, I'll bring him home in his own cage and get them slowly acquainted.
