Hi .. well I have been thinking of what you said MIchelle. And I admit with all the coaxing in the world..Gizmo wont come out. He is mad mad mad at me ever since the neutering.. All the progress we made has never returned. Maybe it is true that a skunk NEVER forgets and more than that NEVER FORGIVES. He must associate me now with fear. Even with food I cant get him to come out. I thought it may just be the winter weather up here, and in his mind he may be semi hibernating, like denning up. This is still a possiblity..but now I am begging to wonder if it might be better to re home him. I really only wanted to make him a nice safe place to be. But he isnt happy and he screeches and pounds his feet if I even talk to him, which I have been doing all the time, thinking he would come around..but he jsut gets madder and madder and madder. Then enter Dexter who scares him too.. that didnt help matters.
