I have a feeling that all of the trees that used to be in that area attracted people to dumping them off there. Then the construction chased them back out. The people at Kookabura's said they would routinely find them crossing the parking lot from the woods that were there before Michael's was built.

And yes, you are welcome to pass my name along to anyone interested. Babies are only born once a year, and though we do occassionally get them in as rescues, it's a short time span. They grow so quickly! People can adopt babies through us through advance orders or adopt rescued adults. Rescue adoption fees do vary depending on the individual needs of the skunk.

And you are welcome to come play with the stinkers anytime!

Michelle
