We have a 13 stripped Michigan ground squirell that we rescued as a two week old baby. We are unable to release him into the wild due to his dependence on us. We have tried to take him out side but he just shakes. He gets exercise by rolling around in a hamster ball. Since winter is coming will he need to hibernate and if he does how do we provide an enviroment for him to do this...is hibernation needed. Can he remain in a cage with a g.pig with added warmth this winter? thank you...chippy
