Curious thing. I just checked the chestnuts I left around in various places where I know there are squirrels, and where nuts are quickly devoured, and those chestnuts had gnaw marks in them - but they were UNEATEN! Go figure. I saw this in several locations. It was as if the squirrels tasted it, and didn't like
what they tasted. So, I suppose my question remains: do squirrels like chestnuts? Seems not. I never thought they were that picky!
