Hi, I train tigers... are you a professionally trained handler??? If not I would rethink your choice of animal. Tigers gain a pound a day for the first year of their life, by 6mths of age they can be lethal. they grow 3 1/2" canines at 12mths of age. By the time they are 2, some males will be 500lbs, females 200lbs. It costs about $500,000 to provide decent housing for one tiger and to feed it for a lifetime. they eat 15-30lbs of raw meat a day, and it has to be good quality. They never make good pets and white tigers that are sold tend to have several health problems.
